CF1 CBN - POLYCRYSTALLINE Heat Resistant Alloys Cell fiber ceramic combines toughess and wear resistance into one insert, similar to whisker reinforced ceramics. Cell fibers feature a hard, wear resistant ceramic core and a tough ceramic shell. The tough shell stops cracks that form in the core. Excellent performance in high temp alloys under 50Rc. PT600M (MEGACOAT) CERAMIC AI2O3+TiC Cast Iron, Hardened Materials MEGACOAT plus fine-grain ceramic structure miniaturization allow PT600M to achieve significantly longer tool life for machining of hardened materials and gray cast iron. The new MEGACOAT ceramic achieves significantly longer tool life, approaching that of CBN. Superior economic efficiency in the machining of hardened materials. Good wear resistance for high speed machining of gray cast iron. Special PVD coating controls crater wear and achieves stable machining with superior oxidation resistance. TN100M PVD COATED CERMET TiCN+NbC C7-C8 P10-25 M10-25 Steel For milling of steel and stainless steel. TiCN+NbC base cermet. Cermet for milling applications with greatly improved thermal shock resistance. Anti-oxidation properties restrict the oxidation wear and maintain excellent surface finishes.
TN60 PVD COATED CERMET TiCN+NbC C6-C8 C2-C4 P05-20 K01-15 Steel Machining of steel, stainless steel, cast iron and non-ferrous metal where excellent surface finish and close size control is required. General purpose TiCN+NbC base cermet. Cermet with high nitrogen content. Improvement of hardness and strength due to small grain size. Improvement of thermal shock resistance by improving thermal conductivity. TN60 performs just like coated carbide grades.
TN6010 PVD COATED CERMET TiCN Steel Improved Surface cermet with superior wear resistance and toughness. Application: Economical uncoated cermet for steel.
TN6020 PVD COATED CERMET TiCN C6-C8 P05-25 M05-20 Steel TiCN based super micro-grain cermet with high nitrogen content. Excellent wear resistance and toughness. TN6020's blending strength is equal to carbide grades and TN6020 has greatly improved reliability with coolant. TN6020 has good chip control, surface finish quality and long tool life.
